The Skating Club of Boston announces a preliminary agreement with Team Excel

(Mar 09) The Skating Club of Boston is pleased to announce the signing of a preliminary agreement with Team Excel to significantly expand its synchronized skating presence in the New England region. Director of Synchronized Skating, Merita Mullen, a nationally and internationally recognized coach will lead the effort at Team Excel along with a strong team of coaches. Under Merita Mullen, Team Excel will feature teams from beginner to elite international. The affiliation will bring together the talent and experience of two excellent organizations. The joint goal is to combine the foundation and feeder system that The Skating Club of Boston has in place through its successful Learn to Skate programs with the talent and proven synchronized skating experience of Team Excel. Tryouts for Team Excel will be held on March 28 - April 1 at the New England Sports Center in Marlboro.
