Team Excel and The Skating Club of Boston Announce a Multi-year Partnership

(Mar 18 09) (April 27) We are pleased to announce that this week Team Excel formally affiliated with The Skating Club of Boston. As you know, The Skating Club of Boston is one of the oldest and most prestigious figure skating clubs in the United States. The partnership will bring together the talent and experience of two excellent organizations. Our goal is to combine the foundation and feeder system that The Skating Club of Boston has in place through its successful Learn to Skate programs with the talent and proven synchronized skating experience of Team Excel headed by Director of Synchronized Skating, Merita Mullen. Working together, The Skating Club of Boston and Team Excel will absolutely be a dynamic synchronized skating presence!

Team Excel will become the exclusive synchronized skating organization of The Skating Club of Boston. Team Excel will represent The Skating Club of Boston in national and international competitions and provide synchronized skating instruction in their Learn to Skate program. All Team Excel Members, who are not already members, will become synchronized skating members of The Skating Club of Boston. The Team Boston synchronized skating teams will be invited to join Team Excel.

Spring training is an exciting time for skill building and meeting new prospective friends and team mates. We are especially pleased to announce that Team Excel is planning to field teams at the Beginner, Preliminary, Open Juvenile, Juvenile, Intermediate, Novice, Junior, Collegiate and Adult levels for the 2009-2010 season.

Team Excel practices will begin May 13 and 14. There are still limited opportunities available for a number of different teams. If you are interested in trying out, please send email to excelsynchro@gmail.com.
