Dina Volpicelli — Synchronized Skating Coach

Dina Volpicelli is a PSA rated professional and has been teaching for over 26 years. Throughout those years, she was involved in the synchronized skating community and served as a head coach for multiple teams for nearly 15 years. Beginning in 1991, Dina developed a synchronized skating program at the Baypath Figure Skating Club. She coached there from 1991-1995, and during this time, Dina took her Juvenile teams to Nationals twice. Following her coaching time at Baypath, Dina then moved on to coach at The Warwick Figure Skating Club. During her time coaching there, she coached her juvenile team, The Snowflakes, to nationals three times, capturing a gold medal in 1996. Also at Warwick FSC, Dina developed a preliminary team and co-coached the Intermediate team with Nancy Rossi.
Dina has been on staff at Colonial FSC for 16 years, and in the fall of 2009 she became a member of The Skating Club of Boston Metro West staff. She is an active member of the Learn to Skate program at SCOB Metro west and teaches from the learn to skate level to the senior level.
In her amateur career, Dina skate with the Ice Capades (1981-1983). She has also had the opportunity to skate for the Espirit De Corps.
