Open Juvenile

As outlined by U.S. Figure Skating, the Open Juvenile division consists of 8-20 skaters all of whom are 19 years of age or younger. There is no test requirement to be eligible to compete on this sectionally competitive team, however a minimum of Pre-Bronze Skating Skills is preferred. 

Team Excel Open Juvenile practices twice a week and is composed of skaters with a variety of past synchro experience. They participate at regional competitions and exhibitions throughout the season, debuting their new program at the Team Excel Pep Rally which is held annually. Team Excel Open Juvenile continues to work on not only the fundamentals of the sport, but also more intricate skills that are necessary for higher levels of synchro as well.
